- Feb 18Jill Robb – Your Opinion Sought!! Does anyone else get annoyed at these companies sending sales pitches via website and CRM contact forms? It's a real pet peeve of mine. Contact forms are for inbound sales inquiries, genuine business requests such as HR or media requests. Website contact forms are NOT there for these businesses that clog up CRMs with sales pitches. Why am I so annoyed? It's an increasing issue that is clogging up CRMs with junk, and to top it off, today I saw one who was promoting their product, which automates the sending of said spammy messages via other companies' inquiry forms. Absolutely not, my friend, it's spam. And it's spam that your prospects get... with your name on it! Am I wrong here? Does anyone actually not mind these companies clogging up your CRM? If you already use this tactic, are you concerned about turning prospects off? Genuinely interested to know if any of my network has a different opinion 🤔 UPDATE: This spamming is otherwise known as "contact form prospecting". Whatever. It's spam.9
