- Feb 20Landon Hobbs – Here's my thoughts on 6sense, if you value not setting your cash on fire - there's definitely better alternatives. Just my opinion babe. By the numbers: 6sense valuation was at 5.2B in 2022 and now sits pretty at 906M, a magnificent 83% decline. Company is fucking up so badly their CEO abandoned ship 8 months ago. CMO/CRO also said "yo I'm outtie 500, deuces ✌️" and dipped. She was basically the brand. 6sense's own research team wrote a blog publicly admitting that the category they built their company on ("intent data") is fundamentally flawed as a concept and needs rebranding to "signals." Per LeadGenius: "the overwhelming consensus is that 6Sense over-promises and under-delivers. Many companies abandon the tool after their contract expires, citing unreliable data, misleading insights, and an inability to drive measurable revenue impact." According to chat, me and Nigeria Women's Basketball are the only two teams that have won five consecutive championships (myself with 6sense President's Clubs and them with Women's AfroBasket Titles). A not so humble brag here because why wouldn't I on LinkedIn, but also because it's the perfect excuse to share what's made it possible... 6SENSE! If you're a seller and you're not using 6sense to prioritize the prospects most ready to buy, you're missing out on a huge competitive advantage to win deals, hit your number, and go to club! I certainly will throw credit to the rest of the 6sense team too, though. I can't imagine a stronger marketing team at driving awareness and pipeline for us sellers. A customer success team that drives adoption and ROI so our customers will keep growing. A product team that drives innovation and implements feedback from the field. A leadership team that steers the ship keeping us healthy, strategic, partners to our customers. And an HR team (and everyone I missed) that drives an incredible culture that helps keep me in seat. 6sense65
