- Feb 15Cazandra Aporbo, MS – For 20 years, the business model was, “charge $50 per user, per month." In 2026, that model is a lie. If I sell you an AI Agent that automates your QA process, you don't need more users. You need fewer. If my product works, your headcount goes down. So if I charge "per seat," I am betting against my own success. 🤔 The "seat" is the wrong unit of value. The unit should be the outcome. Don't charge for the 5 analysts using the tool. Charge for the 5,000 batch records the AI audited perfectly. Intercom figured this out with Fin ($0.99 per resolution).
